Neuroplasticity Coaching for Parents and Practitioners
Our nervous systems are the atmosphere our children and clients breathe. We cannot sustainably co‑regulate anyone else’s autonomic nervous system while our own is stuck in chronic fight, flight, or collapse. Neuroplasticity Coaching helps individuals, parents, caregivers, and practitioners understand where to begin and how to prioritize the many factors that influence neuroplasticity. Depending on your goals, coaching may include instruction in Polyvagal Touch™, a practical method that can be learned and practiced at home.

This is coaching, not clinical treatment. If you are outside California, this is the only service available to you. Sessions are conducted via Zoom or FaceTime. Separate intake paperwork applies.

Why This Matters
After pregnancy, birth, prolonged stress, trauma, or chronic illness, many people remain in a state of nervous system depletion. When the autonomic nervous system stays organized around fight, flight, or collapse, it becomes much more difficult to respond flexibly, think clearly, or engage fully with daily life.
Children don't inherit only our genes. They also organize around the signals they receive from the people closest to them: our breath, voice, posture, timing, and touch. Supporting healthy autonomic regulation early is often easier than trying to reorganize long-established patterns later in life.
Clients experiencing serious illness like Parkinsons, MS or cognitive decline are strongly encouraged to include a supportive family member in coaching sessions.

What Sessions Look Like
Coaching sessions are practical, structured, and grounded in neuroscience and body-based practice. The goal is to teach skills that support your own neuroplasticity. You don't need medical training. You need a pair of hands and a reliable internet connection.
Many techniques require little or no equipment. Others may incorporate simple tools such as magnets or a personal massager. We work together to determine the most appropriate place to begin.
Depending on your situation, sessions may include:
-
Learning Polyvagal Touch™ as a practical method for supporting neuroplasticity.
-
Guidance for self-regulation through posture, movement, breathing, and intentional touch.
-
Support for challenges involving sensory regulation, sleep, feeding, gait, coordination, and everyday function.
-
Review of your medical history, imaging, laboratory studies, and current therapies to help organize priorities. This is not diagnosis or treatment. It is an educational review designed to help you determine where to begin.
-
Distance healing, when appropriate.

Why Start Early
Neuroplasticity has no time limits, but meaningful change depends on frequent, consistent application. The earlier healthy autonomic patterns are supported, the easier it is to preserve them over time.
