Polyvagal Acupuncture™ integrates neuroscience, myofascial theory, physical therapy, and painless Japanese acupuncture for the treatment of neurogenic disease and trauma. This method facilitates the body's ability to leverage neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to lay down new pathways. Through specialized acupuncture and reflex integration, it targets the autonomic nervous system and fascia, offering a science-based approach to restore nervous system function and improve outcomes in cases of trauma and neurological conditions. Complex trauma including battlefield trauma, sexual or relational abuse, cancer, neurogenic trauma are more complex and require both a more lengthy consultation and review of medical records.

Mommy and Me Sessions (Established patients only)
Our Mommy and Me sessions are designed for the primary caregiver and child (typically under age 4), recognizing that young children regulate their nervous systems primarily through their closest caregivers—whether mother, father, grandparent, or nanny.
These sessions provide a soothing, supportive environment to help establish and strengthen vagal tone for both caregiver and child. This may include cuddle time, playful floor activities, and gentle instruction around vagal tone while I move between parent and child. We address how to support the family’s nervous systems (for example, managing technology exposure) and guide parents in preserving their own vagal regulation alongside their child’s. Please allow up to 2 hours for each session.

Neuroplasticity Consultations to Restore the Nervous System Via Zoom, FaceTime
We offer personalized Neuroplasticity Consultations designed to support your nervous system through targeted dietary strategies, supplements, reflex integration, physical therapy, and yoga therapy. The internet has allowed for quickly researching information, but many patients are self-medicating with herbs or supplements that are either not helpful or cause unwanted side effects. Functional medicine provides help with Interpreting labs, balancing endocrine issues, and balancing hormones.
Each consultation is 75 minutes and focuses on a thorough assessment of your history, current concerns, and goals. A review of your medical records (up to 15 minutes) is included to ensure a tailored approach. Records must be provided prior to the consultation to allow for adequate review. A comprehensive typed summary and personalized treatment plan, including possible referrals in your local area, is also provided following the consultation.

Reflex Integration Training For Acupuncturists and Somatic Therapists
This specialized training is designed for licensed acupuncturists, massage therapists and somatic therapists who wish to learn how to facilitate reflex integration techniques for their own children, families, or clinical clients.
The training includes:

Personalized tutoring tailored to the practitioner’s specific goals and needs
Many practitioners and caregivers have their own autonomic or neurological deficits—often unrecognized—that can impact the training process. Therefore, prior to beginning training, practitioners must complete an initial evaluation and treatment to address their own baseline function.
Sessions are intensive and focused, delivered one-on-one to ensure mastery of these important therapeutic skills.
